Who we are and Who supports us
Non-Profit, Tax free donations

Our Neighborhood Voices Educational Corporation (ONVEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through education, advocacy, and resource access.
Through workshops, mentorship, and community-driven initiatives, our organization works to bridge gaps by educating residents on how State laws are crafted to understand the local impacts of land-use and zoning at a local level.
ONVEC’s mission is to create spaces where a broad range of voices are heard and supported, thereby strengthening local communities. By fostering collaboration between local leaders, educators, and organizations across the State, ONVEC aims to cultivate stronger, more resilient neighborhoods that thrive through education and collective action.
Statewide Initiative -Just like Proposition 13

The State Initiative spearheaded by Our Neighborhood Voices (ONV) 501(c)(4) group seeks to advance comprehensive state-level policy reforms that address affordable housing.
Through grassroots mobilization and strategic advocacy, ONV is working to build broad coalition support for this initiative. The goal is to pass a State-wide initiative that guarantees local control of land-use and zoning to all cities.
Sustainable Development

With every overstep, Sacramento Legislators empower ONV.
There are many resident groups that support Our Neighborhood Voices (ONV & ONVEC). They span a diverse spectrum of communities, all united by a shared commitment to support local control and people’s homes. These groups include Cities, Joint Powers Authorities, Districts, local grassroots organizations, and community-based nonprofits.
