Todd Loewenstein has dedicated over 16 years to public service in Redondo Beach. He began his elected career as President and Member of the Redondo Beach Board of Education, later serving two terms as the District 2 City Councilmember. During his time on the Council, he took on some of the city’s most pressing issues, most notably over-development and densification, advocating for responsible land use policies and strong local control to protect the character of the community.

Beyond public service, Todd has built a career at the intersection of media and technology. He has worked with some of the world’s leading media companies, helping to drive the transformation of entertainment from traditional television to streaming and cloud-based platforms.

A longtime Redondo Beach resident, Todd and his wife raised their two daughters in the community. Outside of work, he enjoys time at the beach, traveling, and cheering on his favorite teams—the Michigan Wolverines and the St. Louis Cardinals.
